Over a week into my Rowerg, and liking it. It is very different than the Sunny rower I have used the past two years, but I am adjusting. Since I am not trying to loss weight or get stronger {at 68 years of age I'm where I want to be) I don't really care about power or speed, I just row. I do as I did before with the Sunny and alternate days with my indoor bike (Bowflex C6) and it is great. I do 5k every other day, and still focusing on form. Breaking some bad habits in form that are in my muscle memory from 2 years on the Sunny. Educated myself by watching videos and reading.

I like it!

It is not actually possible to “break” Godwin’s Law. From the horse’s mouth:

Thanks for that, Jackarabit - that was a very interesting read.

Happy you got something positive from it, big guy.

Very happy to hear you’re getting along with it well! Learning to row correctly has really benefitted my sessions, though I find I really have to watch my form when I get tired or want to go faster… bad habits can sneak right in on you. Sounds like you know what you need and are on your way. It’s a major step up from the Sunny. :D

Thank you Rick for your comment. You are right, bad habits sneak back in. I notice that if I'm not focused I will start the "catch" sooner than I should and pull with my arms when I should be still using the legs. I am looking forward to getting the correct form fully into muscle memory, and can just row. Until then I have to pay attention to each stroke to be sure I'm keeping form.
