Cleaning the Seat

Post by anthonyc31 » April 7th, 2021, 11:12 pm

Hi,

I was just wondering how people clean their seats? I have a rower with sweat stains and before I try anything, just wondering what others are doing to clean it. it's like a gel/foam material. Any advice is appreciated!

That doesn't look like the current iteration of a C2 seat. (see link below for that)

The C2 versions I'm familiar with have a smooth, relatively easy to wipe off, surface.

Either way, first I'd try plain old water, which should be enough to get sweat stains out, but if not I'd just use a generic spray-on household cleaner, but nothing too aggressive (e.g. nothing with bleach), then be sure to dry it off with some paper towels.

Looks like an Oartec seat.

Yep- not a C2 seat. Water or a household cleanser should do it.
