Shock Cord or Chain First?

Hi

After stripping down and repainting my Model C time has come to rebuild it

I have the new parts and was wondering if it would be easier to firstly install the shock cord then the chain or the chain first then the shock cord?

Or is there no difference either way

Hi, I’m glad you persevered. I hoped you’ve enjoyed it.

I personally would put the chain on first. I wonder if the bungee would get in the way if you did it the other way.
