This post from June 2020 says Fenix 6 will now broadcast Ant+, implying to me that it didn't used to and that you may need to get to a new firmware level. Once you can send Ant+ you are set.

The PM5 will happily consume and display an Ant+ HR signal. I use Ant+ sometimes on my polar h10 belt. Works great. If your fenix 6 is set to broadcast Ant+ then PM5 will not only display it, it will pass the data to Ergdata so you can see it combined with your stroke data on the C2 log.

"Slipped into yesterday’s most recent Garmin Fenix 6 series public beta is a new feature that slightly revamps heart rate re-broadcasting. This is where you can broadcast the heart rate from your optical HR sensor, on the back of your watch, to 3rd party apps." https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2020/06/qui ... nix-6.html

I don't know how you usually get your data to Garmin connect, assume you could continue to do it the way you previously did it. IN ADDITION or instead of this approach you can set up your PM5 to talk to ERGDATA, and have ERGDATA upload to the Concept2 Log. Concept2 will push your data to Garmin Connect automatically.

"We've added Garmin Connect to our list of integrations. This means that if you upload your workouts to the logbook via the Concept2 ErgData app (or any other app that captures rowing stroke data), you can now set it up so that your workouts go from the logbook directly into Garmin Connect. Just go to Edit Profile, choose Applications from the menu, and follow the instructions from there. " https://www.concept2.com/news/new-logbo ... y-and-more

Thanks for the extensive answer!

I found the solution:
Rower
- turn wireless on
- connect ANT

Fenix
- Add sensor
- new sensor
- search all sensors
- an ID-number will appear - selct

The it should be OK.
Power and Distance wil be on Garmin Connect.
Strokes are missing, but that`s OK for me.
