Ergo Coach?
Re: Ergo Coach?
Looks like it would be useful for a club environment where they are teaching people how to row from scratch, or maybe as a "tune up" tool to make sure your bad habits aren't coming back. Once you get it figured out, it would never get used again.
For personal use, I wouldn't get it. I'd use mirrors (what I did over 30 years ago) or a smartphone to video myself to get it figured out.

I can't see that being useful for very long at all and that's a lot of money to pay for something that you can do quite easily yourself.

This forces the the standard hands-swing-slide recovery sequence rather than the all-in-one C2 recovery action. Coach must be desperate. The backstop drill and maybe a front stop on the erg rail will help too.

Re: Ergo Coach?
I actually own an ergo coach. I finally know what it feels like to row properly. How many times do you think you are crushing it with great form only to have your coach yell at you because your are not in the right position? this product allows you to develop muscle memory. I got back to the ergo coach frequently because it is easy to fall into bad habits when you are rowing in the boat under pressure. rowing right is only inches from rowing wrong = the ergo coach lets you see the geometry up close.
