Suitable oil for the model D

Hi,

Can anyone from C2 confirm that its OK to use 100% Silicone oil used for treadmill belts for the model D chain?

I saw it in another forum but its not listed as an option in the formal documentation. I don't want to make a mistake and damage the rowing machine.

I found the 3-in-1 to be cheapest at Home Depot. Wanna say the same 3oz bottle C2 sells was like $2.50 at HD.
