PM5- Display light time

Post by HowardF » September 25th, 2020, 1:36 pm

Hi,

my training room is rather dark. Is there a function where I can extend the time of display light ?

Have you tried connecting a USB-B (printer cable) to your laptop or to a 5V wall charger?

It's about 45 seconds from last stroke to PM5 going dark when it's on batteries. Any button press will light it up again.

This has been brought up before. It needs an adjustable time setting in the menu's for when its on battery power but as soon as its on USB power it may as well be on all the time that the monitor is on, maybe even 24/7 so you can find your rower in the dark

Have not done the cable try.

As newbe I want slowly progress, hence my favorit is:
3x20 min R3 min in UT2 band ( gives around 12 700 m)
2X20 min R3 min in UT1 band

During the rest I do want to see the rest time.

This must be a simple upgrade in the SW or?

A possible SW upgrade can be that the display light is ON during the interval rest time as long this time is less than say 5 min.

Use Ergdata on your phone and you can see the rest time tick down on there.
