Model D slipping Clutch

Post by HughdeMorville » August 1st, 2020, 11:15 pm

Hi guys,

New here on the forums. I have a Model D from 2005.

Can I purchase a clutch bearing directly through Concept 2 ? I thought I saw a thread where part #293 was mentioned. Precision part and fittment i know.

I also have just replaced the 14 tooth cog on the flywheel axle and Lubricated all bearings.

However the 17mm bearing #1300 does not slide off the axle . Seems the only way possible to remove it.

I noticed small amounts of corrosion on the axle. Perhaps thats preventing it. Didnt want to force it.
Any ideas ?

Thanks
