PM3 For Sale

Greetings.

I just upgraded my Model B to the PM5. I have a nice PM3 with the bracket. I see them selling for between $75 - $100 on Ebay.

$75 plus shipping.

I have pictures but this forum wants them some kinda small. I can send one.

What version of PM3 is it ? You can tell by looking in the Product ID screen at the firmware version and date code.

The version 2 on the PM3 is still a great monitor but the version 1 is now getting to old and is just not as reliable as the version 2 which underwent a major redesign.

I wouldn't pay $10 for the old version now.

I think you're at least $50 ahead of the value of an old PM3. If the supercap is on it's way out then you're about $75 ahead of the value. The bracket is probably worth more than the monitor.

Thanks - the Hardware version says 245 and the date code, if I am reading correctly is 2009.

The monitor works great so I am not sure why you assume supercaps or the like are going out.

I will just list it on Ebay and let the market do its thing.

Because that's one common failure mode if leaking batteries doesn't kill it. The other common failures are the 2.5mm sensor jack and the USB socket becoming detached from the circuit board.

Sold. For reference for anyone else selling one - sold for "Buy It Now" $80 on Ebay. PM3 Version 2 in excellent working condition.
