Looking for a PM5 Monitor (US)

Post by grizzlystrong » April 29th, 2020, 5:59 pm

Hi All,

Looking for a used PM5 Monitor, recently I bought a Concept 2 D rower without a monitor, thought it would be easy to find one but to my surprise it is not. If someone is selling one and will ship it to me, let me know.

:D

I suggest to contact Concept 2 support and they will help.
Not available on the web site but they can tell you when they can ship you one.

Buy one brand new from Concept 2 when they become available.

There is the earlier first generation PM5 and you don't want one of those, the second Gen PM5 is what you want, get a new one.

You won't know until it's a generally available product - C2 have never pre-announced any new toys with new bells and whistles. If you want to speculate on what a future PM needs then don't forget to ask for the pink ponies and unicorns.

The PM6 will be an App on your smartphone. There really is no real need for a monitor anymore. The pickup just needs a micro with Bluetooth and a couple of status LEDS and a push button or two to allow connection to your phone. You phone is more than capable of running the monitor display, Ergdata and RowPro at the same time in one App. Just swipe sideways to get what you want on the display of the phone or iPad or the likes in full HD colour. You heard it here first, unfortunately you could be waiting 10 years to get it.
