Hey all.
What are y'all using for seats and padding?
I bought the EndureRow which I like but still find firm, and benefits from extra padding.
The most success I've had was with two Concept2 foam seat pads stuck together - one didn't seem to be thick enough. This works nicely on the stock seat, or the EndureRow. I made a spare, portable cushion from several layers of thin, camping pad underlay as well but the pre-cut pads are convenient and cheap.

I'd been toying with trying out some different seats and pads.
Anyone try the Citius Remex, high or low prow?
I've also noticed RP3 offers seat tops modeled after both Crocker and Fillipi seats - I wonder if they'd be mountable to a C2 erg.

I only use a single C2 pad but as you say after a certain distance it's not enough to help the glutes. I might tinker with some bubble wrap and the pad on my next HM.

Just a small towel folded over. Works for me.

I use a few pieces of cut up yoga mat in a pillow case when it gets unbearable, but never from the start as you will have no solution at all if you do, as even with the padding it still eventually hurts.

Having a skinny, bony rear end is no fun on an erg! The Endrow seat looks intriguing but kinda pricey. I've been exercising my glutes recently hoping to bulk up & add some padding. Alternate choice I may be forced to try is cut up some 6" upholstery foam.
