Hi everyone. Had model c for few years, but not used it for a while. When I've gone to it. The pm3 display is dead, changed batteries, still no luck.
Pulled them out for 24 hours and put new batteries back in, but vertical black lines appear briefly when battery touches contact pad.
Is the monitor dead or is there anything I can do?
I live in the UK (South Wales).
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Put your hand in your pocket, pull out £155, contact Concept2 and buy a new PM5.

Look on E-Bay UK there is a guy there by the name of Simon who repairs them.

thanks Carl, not really good time to be spending £150 on a new PM. and I am not great at installing items like that anyway. will contact the person now. appreciate your help
Re: Model C Pm3 issue
Adding a datapoint: there are PM4s floating around the used market that'll save you money over a PM5. They'll add better wireless capability and be more reliable than the PM3. Search eBay - I see several for £50 right now. Ensure you're buying a rev.2 PM4, made after mid-2008. Installation of any PM is super easy - it's practically a direct plug and play swap.
