ADVISES on PM5

Post by mauvigna » January 23rd, 2020, 9:32 am

Hello everybody
i have a new modelD and i am starting to use it.
I did the firmware upgrade to the latest 168v30 version, everything ok!
Now I have some questions and I hope you can help me:
- is it possible to save a workout in the Favorite menu?
- everytime I have to re-create the workout that I want to do?
- if I get it back in ReRow, it' okay?
- what is the difference between new training and ReRow?
- if I use a USB stick, the workout is saved ONLY in the stick and not in the PM5 ?? right?
- if I use ErgDATA, is the workout saved ALSO in Pm5?

For the moment it's all... thank you very much!!

It feels rather odd for me to be the one to welcome you to this Forum, as I am still relatively new here myself. I think that you can get the answers to all of your questions at this web site:
https://www.concept2.com/service/monito ... how-to-use

In addition to using the USB flash drive, you will also want to quickly learn about the ErgData app (that you download and install on your phone and/or tablet).
https://www.concept2.com/service/software/ergdata

It takes a while to go over these instructions, but they are clear and easy to understand.

Hi

-You can only save a favourite workout, which isn't a standard workout, if you use a USB.
- If it's stored in the previous row you can certainly use Re-Row.
- New workout will need all of the information added e.g. distance, intervals, time etc.
- It will only save to the USB and not the monitor memory, but I assume that your total metres rowed will be shown in the utilities section of the PM5.
- Yes, Ergdata and PM5 will both save the session, unless Ergdata has a connection issue or something similar.

Good luck with the training. Stay patient, train often, and constantly analyse everything you do.
