Polar A370 and PM5 Connection

I wanted to get a heart monitor to work with my rower's PM5 so got a Polar A370 which has Bluetooth Smart. But the PM5 doesn't see it when I select for monitors and/or wireless.

My phone does see both the A370 and the PM5.

Any suggestions?

do you have the A370 in heart rate sensor broadcasting mode when you’re attempting to pair it with the PM5?

I have a polar vantage m & polar h10 heart rate sensor (Bluetooth - supposed to work with 2 Bluetooth targets simultaneously)
- it does take quite a while for the polar h10 Bluetooth device to show up on the heart rate connect menu
- wahoo ant+ connects much faster

with the h10:
I have been able to connect to the PM5
OR
the vantage m

but not both as it is supposed to.

Yes, I had it set to broadcast. Returned it to Amazon. Got a Garmin Forerunner 35 but can't get it to connect, either, but only made one attempt so far. The ANT+ web site says it works.

To be able to connect the H10 to two devices you'll need to activate the "2 receiving BLE devices" functions - this can be done in the Polar Beats app. https://support.polar.com/us-en/support ... al_devices

(You may need to update the H10 firmware to get the "2 receiving BLE devices" function to show in the Polar Beats app - updating firmware can also be done in the Polar Beats app)

i usually do RTM ... but I don’t use polar beat

I was able to get my H10 to pair with my vantage m & the PM5 ... all good now

Ah interesting, I'm thinking of getting a Vantage M to use as a HR monitor. I use the ergdata app from the PM5 to my phone, are you able to use the ergdata app bluetoothed to the pm5 and also the vantage m wirelessly to the PM5 for HR at the same time do you know?

i have never tried to use the Polar Vantage M as a heart rate transmitter.

the polar h10 recently updated firmware and enabled ANT+ transmitter, so i am now using the h10 with the PM5, Ergdata and Polar Vantage M
