Fail to connect ergdata ios app to PM5 with bluetooth

It was all working fine for several weeks until today. Today I cannot connect. The ergdata is newest version. As one attempt to fix I deleted and reinstalled ergdata, so I know it's newest. PM5 firmware is also current, V163. Ergdata sees the PM5, shows the ID and says touch to connect, but it will not connect. Just goes back to the display screen for a few seconds after touching the PM5 ID, shows a red message on the bottom that says "connect a cable ...." then goes back to the searching for PM5 screen again (while continuing to show the PM5 as found). As far as I can recall, nothing has changed since when it worked - yesterday. I'm stumped.

Additional info: it works with another phone, same model (iPhone 5s). I tried rebooting my phone, no joy. I guess I'm stuck with the other phone for now. It will probably start working tomorrow and I'll never know why...

My ErgData has been disconnecting in the middle of my sessions for about a week now. I tried a number of things I saw on the forums, but I didn't have any luck. So, I took Citreon's advice and sent an email yesterday. I'll let you know what i hear back.

Any update on this? This morning I kept getting 487 - 46 error messages after trying to connect to Ergdata using a wireless connection. Never been a problem before. Re-installed firmware but no success. Finally updated Ergdata and it connected, but by that time I had to go to work so did not actually workout. Hoping it does not cut out like you are experiencing but won't know until tomorrow.

No problems now. There was a bug in the Ergdata update which has been rectified.
