Track Heart Rate on PM5 and on Polar Beat app at same time?

I have a model D with PM3. I wear a Polar H10 chest strap and use the Polar Beat app which I think is outstanding.

The H10 links to the app via BTLE and to the PM3 via Gymlink.

I have been thinking about upgrading the monitor to a PM5 to get the backlit screen and to log to the C2 logbook via wireless and/or to start using some of the apps out there like ergdata or liverowing, etc.

However, the newer PM5 does not have the ability to read the old gymlink sensor protocol from Polar. Can anyone with an H7 or H10 tell me if the their straps will link to the PM5 and to the Polar Beat app at the same time with BTLE?

the BLE of my H7 will only pair to one device at a time; I switched to a wahoo tickr to enable pairing to PM5 (ANT+) & my polar v800 (BLE) at the same time.

C2 customer service wanted to believe that the PM5 would route the chest strap data to both the Ergdata app and to Polar Beat. I'm still waiting for technical support to call me back if they ever do.

It's a big negative per C2.

So H10 will not work with PM5 and the phone at the same time? It can only work with one device at the same time, right?
