PM5 problem

Post by Sully » June 19th, 2016, 2:54 am

Hi,

This morning my PM5 won't switch on. The light on the back is flashing red but when I connect it to my ski-erg (I know this is the rower section but I figure the problem will be the same), nothing is coming up on the screen.
Do I just need to change the batteries or is it something more serious? I've had no error codes or anything, just a blank screen.
It worked perfectly on Friday afternoon when I last used it.

Cheers

Sully
If rowing was easy, it would be called "spin class"

I would definitely try just changing the batteries for new, first. Seen this problem a few times with pm5's, and new batteries solved the issue.

If that doesn't remedy the problem, and you have a battery door marked REV A, or REV B, then you should replace it with the latest version.
