PM3 for sale

Post by alanmushnick » April 6th, 2016, 3:31 pm

I have a used PM3 upgraded to latest firmware. The USB port isn't working, but the female receiver could probably be soldered or glued back in place by a handy person. $50.
The iPhone USB cable can be had for another $10.

Hi, I've got a PM3 and would love to have the cable. Interested in selling by itself?

Cheers,
Antoine

The cable is just a stock 5 metre long USB-A to USB-B printer cable

Is it?

I tried the standard USB type A to type B cable with my PM3 and ErgData:
- It works fine with Android devices which support USB host services
- Did not work with Apple/IOS 30-pin devices, not even with Apple's own camera connection kit USB adapter

Doesn't the iphone / ipad require the purpose built cable sold by C2?

Cheers,
Antoine

the cable for iPhone

I also tried a generic cable and it DID NOT work with my iPhone and Ergdata.
If I don't get any bites on the PM3 I will contact Antoine about the cable.

iPhone requires the 30pin cable sold by Concept2. If you have a iPhone with a Lightning port, you need the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter as well.

To connect with a wire to an iOS device requires multiple levels of approval from Apple in their "MFI" program. Anything that communicates with an app must go through this process. The iConnectConcept2 is not just a cable, it is, itself, an electronic product.

Howdy Alan,

I'll take that PM3 off your hands. How do we coordinate this transaction?

Best,
David

This has been sold. Sorry I don't know how to delete the thread.
