Foot straps loosen
Foot straps loosen
In the course of a workout, I notice that the foot straps tend to loosen just a bit. It doesn't take any effort to reach down and tighten them but I was wondering if there is a way to avoid doing that. If anyone has an idea how to keep them firmly in place, please let me know.

Means you using a wrong technique, you should not pull on the straps much. You are losing energy, row strapless on your aerobic work to get ride of that.sekitori wrote:In the course of a workout, I notice that the foot straps tend to loosen just a bit. Re: Foot straps loosen
double tuck them.
Bend the strap right back over and go through the plastic again. I leave my shoes on the rower at all times and just slip my feet in and out. For slow rows like 2:08 pace at low ratings I don't do up the laces.
If you do this the straps never wear out either. The end of the strap is now tidy and pointing at the ground.
Adjustments can still be made if you push the strap out of the plastic, but not all the way till it forms a loop, tighten or loosen then pull the end of it again.
Have not needed to adjust mine for a year now.
