Hello all Apple MAC users:
Apple changes some USB code in their new OSX El Capitan (10.11) operating system that was just released. The current and all prior versions of the Concept2 Utility will not work with El Capitan, or more specifically the Utility will not connect to PM3, PM4, or PM5 monitors to perform firmware updates or read LogCards or PM5 internal memory.
Concept2 is working on a solution and will post an updated Utility on the usual www.concept2.com/utility page when available. Until then, I do not recommend updating to El Capitan.

Re: OSX El Capitan and the Concept2 Utility
Any update on an ETA for the Concept2 Utility that will work with El Capitan?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Any update or progress on this?
Re: OSX El Capitan and the Concept2 Utility
Yes and no. We have identified the issue but the changes in OSX will require a rewrite of the USB functions we have relied on for many years. This is in progress, but I do not have a test build yet so it is hard to speculate at this time.

Re: OSX El Capitan and the Concept2 Utility
So the only short term solution is to upgrade my PM4 to PM5 and use a flash drive? Any other workarounds?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: OSX El Capitan and the Concept2 Utility
Any idea of a timeline for getting the utility to run with El Capitan? I have to borrow an old Macbook to update my logbook from my card.
