PM5 Error Codes - what a mess!

Constant error codes with the PM5.
Even when they exchanged my PM5 4 days after I got the new machine, I was having problems. AND it's still giving me error codes no matter what button I push, it just stays on.
I have also did the : pull the batteries out and waited till the next day, but WAIT! Do I have to do this with a NEW MACHINE.
I have also unattached the PM5 and connected it to my computer to update the Firmware....... It's getting to be a habbit.
The PM5 in my book is not ready for production.
This is the 2nd PM5 I have had within 1 month.
Each time I push a button I get:
1907-37
1907-147
1908-147

I'll agree that the PM5 seems to have been released early without proper testing.

Only error code I have seen is 1842-37. But everything has saved.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that the update to V16 worked. It no longer freezes on the force curve screen and seems to be stable.

Take the supplied thumb drive and throw it away.

Hi Chris,
I have tried 3 different thumb drives, each one has the same result.
Went thru all that mess with the support tech Will. And they sent me another unit.

After a workout, I push the menu key to save the workout I did.
Right away I get the No flash drive error picture. Has did it on all 3 thumb drives.
Also, sometimes it will record my HR, and sometimes it won't. BUT it will read off the ERG DATA App.
When the error codes come up, the whole screen will lock. I push buttons, and nothing happens.
The machine will not even shut down, the screen fades,and the codes still show....
It's a hit or miss with the HR. I have also tried 3 different HR Straps that have the ANT+. Garmin's and Bontrager's.
These work fine everywhere else I need to use them.
The machine is fantastic, just not a good PM5 (the heart of the machine).

Only about 1/2 of the time does the PM5 recognize my Garmin HRM strap even though it is saved on the thumb drive. I have to back up and manually add it again. This is after making sure I wait at start up to make sure the PM5 is reading from the thumb drive (hour glass and screen change).

If I jump to the just row screen before the hour glass appears it never recognizes the saved HRM.

We are wanting to know if the PM5 will work with Iphones? Instead of using a thumb drive! After reading these code errors I may re thinking using my phone.

Has anyone else tried to hook up their phone instead of a thumb drive?
