New "connected" Bubble Wrap makes nice seatpad

Post by carlb » August 2nd, 2012, 5:51 pm

There's a new Bubble Wrap that does not have individual bubbles, each bubble is connected to the next one so it is much harder (or impossible) to pop. I have not been able to find the product or exact name. Currious if anyone knows the official name? It's come to me in some shipments.

It makes a great seatpad for those long Rowlympics rows. It's perf'd and tears into rectangles where one dimension matches the length of the seat. The other is 2 times the width, sometimes I fold it double thick.

Here's a picture of it.

I found in this blog page complaining it can't be popped. Has bigger pics.

Yes I have seen the same stuff coming in on overseas shipments, never considered using it as a seat pad however as my "Glute's" are huge and its not required

This is also raising your seat height which wouldn't be to your advantage either as it's nearly an inch thick, however you have to do what you have to do to prevent anything that's a pain in the ass !
