Hi there,
Until recently I used a Suunto HR belt with my PM2 and a C2 sensor pod, both about 15 years old. No problems there.
Now I upgraded to a new Polar with the Wearlink, bought at Concept2. And snce using that the readings on the PM2 are way out. They are about 20 to 30 too high when compared to the readings on my Suunto watch. The PM2 shows me having a heart rate of 205, when the watch shows about 175, which is high enough for me (55 years old guy).
Anyone know where the problem could be located?
Greetings from Holland!

Re: Model C, PM2 and heartrate sensor
Check for any other transmissions on the ISM 2.4GHz band.
The C2 Polar interface doesn't use "Polar coded" so anything it receives that sounds like a HR pulse gets counted as a HR pulse.
The only time I saw 200+ with Polar was when two of us were sitting side by side both with Polar belts on. Both PM3s were picking up both signals and adding/merging them.
A tin-foil hat may be the only answer.
