Trading Up? I'm in the market for a used D Model
Hi there - This may work as something like a trade-in for you. I am in the market for a used Concept2 rower D model, or will be in March. If yours is in good shape but you want to go for that new model, please reply to this post.
Re: Trading Up? I'm in the market for a used D Model
Alissa - I'm in western Oregon. At least we're both on the west coast--so shipping may not be prohibitive. Would you be travelling north by chance? I could buy a used machine toward the end of March. Does that coincide with your plans at all? If so, tell me about your machine, and what you're looking to sell it for.
PS
I'm new to this forum. I didn't see a way to reply directly to your post. I did 'friend' you in hopes that I could reply directly. User tips welcome.

When you have a PM open you'll see a You'll see a "Send Reply" button above it on the left side. I'll send you another, in case you had deleted the first.KerenO! wrote:Alissa - I'm in western Oregon. The "Post a reply" button on top gets me this (I didn't see a post a reply button right above the last message). Thanks for your help--hoping to get in the swing of this.

Not the one on this thread's page (which, as you say, will get you a reply on this thread). Instead open one of the PMs--while you have that open you'll see a "Send Reply" (not "Post a Reply") button. That will allow you to send a replying PM.KerenO! wrote:The "Post a reply" button on top gets me this (I didn't see a post a reply button right above the last message). I found the quote button which brought me to this screen but still don't see the "send reply." Sorry to be dense. This is getting embarrassing. There's "Post a Reply" up top, and "submit" down below. Guess I'll go for the latter. Hope my niavete makes someone laugh. I am getting a lesson in messaging when all I wanted was a rowing machine. And then there's these silly emoticons...Alissa wrote:Not the one on this thread's page (which, as you say, will get you a reply on this thread). Near the top of the screen you should be able to see some text that says "(0 new messages)" (the zero might be another number). Click that text.
You should now be in your Inbox, and see several message listed (from Alissa, I guess!). Click on one of those.
You should be able to see the text of the message, and a couple of buttons marked 'Send Reply' and 'Forward'. Clicking 'Send Reply' will send a message to Alissa, without sharing with the rest of us
If you have more problems feel free to let me know (I'm a moderator here).
Cheers, Paul
