could someone please explain the options in the custom list on the pm monitors? I guess the first one is row hard for 30 then rest for 30 for as long as you want? or can? is that right?

The custom list is customisable - favourites from a Logcard can be copied over the custom list.
If you have a Logcard it's better to define your favourite workouts and use those rather than the custom list (which is mostly not useful with the defaults as set by C2).
