Should the monorail be completely level?
Should the monorail be completely level?
Very recently bought a Model D, and I'm really enjoying it, but I notice that the seat slides all the way forward when nobody is using it. How level should the monorail be?
The C2 is designed so that the seat will roll back to the catch on its own. Your erg sounds completely normal - the only issue could be if it wasn't snapped together right at the joint between flywheel and rail, and you would know pretty quick if that was the problem because it would collapse when you were using it.

Slight slope to the front end is normal.mjterave wrote:Very recently bought a Model D, and I'm really enjoying it, but I notice that the seat slides all the way forward when nobody is using it. How level should the monorail be?
Check the legs aren't on back to front. http://www.concept2.com/us/support/manu ... nstrux.pdf (or http://www.concept2.com/us/support/manu ... uction.pdf if it was built before August 2006).
