Mac PM4 Connection Issue
I connected by Mac to the PM4 and once the computer is powered up, the PM4 turns off and is not recognized by the utility. Does anyone know what's up with that?

It's a conflict between your HP printer or scanner software and the firmware in the PM3 or PM4. Please see:
http://www.concept2.com/us/service/firm ... issues.asp
Symptom: The PM3 flickers, fades, or shuts off when connected to a Mac that has HP printer/scanner or some other HP device software installed on it. If you are not sure whether you have HP device software installed on your computer, please email rowing@concept2.com for assistance.
Resolution: This issue is resolved in PM3 Firmware Version 306 Beta 1 and higher; you will need to install PM3 Firmware Version 306 Beta 1 or higher on your PM3 to remedy the problem.
Important! To successfully install the firmware, you will need to use either a Windows PC or a Mac that does not have the HP software installed on it. If you do not have access to another PC or Mac, you will need to uninstall the HP software to allow for the PM3 update. To uninstall the HP software, use the uninstall link for the HP software under Applications, or contact HP for instructions. You may reinstall the HP software after updating the PM3.
