Can't get it up ...

Post by M_Keating » June 30th, 2008, 9:04 pm

My lever won't stay up. No, not that lever ... the one on the side of the C2 that controls the damper. It only sticks at 10 or slides all the way down to 1.

Any brilliant suggestions? I'm thinking of wrapping it in some sort of tape at the point where the lever comes in contact with the fan shroud to give it a bit of friction.

Thanks,
M

Give C2 a call, they will send you a couple small button-like pieces and instructions on how to install them. Works a treat! Assuming you are talking about a Model C, I've not heard of the other models having an issue with damper lever slippage. B)

You can also turn the housing cover 90° so that the handle is at the top.
