Re: ANyone have any unused logcards?
You can format the full Logcards without taking it out of the PM3 monitor by using a hidden menu. The PM3 needs to be on the latest version of the firmware. You go into the second screen of the product ID, press the change units 3 times then the change display 3 times and FORMAT is shown on the scre...

Re: New PM5 showing wrong data
The magnets need to be replaced, punch them out. You can get the original 3/32" size if you are in the USA, everyone else should drill the holes out to 3mm and replace them with neodymium magnets which are cheap but you probably have to buy 20 of them. You can Loctite them in or superglue them in, t...

Sooner or later you will let go of the handle, it happens to everyone and that screen is gone burger.
The best place to mount a really big screen for the rower is on the wall in front of you.

Re: Has anyone seriously investigated what the optimum chain lubricant is for the C2 chain?
Are we talking about the C2 Bike or the C2 Rower ? I still have a bottle of clear lubricant that C2 supply's or did supply with the rower and that works perfectly fine. With a regular lube the chain will last pretty much forever. The Model C used to come with a D.I.D chain the Model D uses a KMC, th...

Re: Bench Testing a PM5
You can fake the model C sensor with the sensor plugged into the monitor and just wave a magnet across the face of the sensor. A decent magnet will turn on the monitor on from about 25mm or 1 inch away from the face of the sensor. Make sure the PM5 is set to the Model C. If you pull the handle on th...

Re: Model C Chain Idler Axle and Pulley
There is a trick to those pully screws. Once you get one out you need to replace it with a longer screw with a nut on it. Screw it in and do up the nut and then remove the hard to get out screw. Slacken off the nut and remove the longer screw. Thread is 3/16" UNC from memory. You need two 9/16 wrenc...

I always put the strap in a sink full of hot water and swirl it around before and after use, I NEVER put the strap in a washing machine.
To dry I get a clean towel and squeeze the strap along the length between the towel.
Even the cheap AliExpress replacement straps last years.

Re: HR monitor heads up. EU regs driving changes.
Garmin is great, I use only ANT+ with it on the red Garmin RUN and an older clip on type prior to the Dual. Basically its the strap that typically dies first and cheap straps are available from AliExpress. Chances are I will eventually try the likes of the CooSpo H808S, its a fraction of the Garmin ...

Re: Row pro vs exr vs zwift vs kinomap
You only need to try Zwift with the Erg and you very quickly discover the limitations. Its okay if you just want to look at decent graphics and do all the solo route completions and move up the levels but its just frustrating when you come up against other riders. Basically you can put way more powe...

Re: Row pro vs exr vs zwift vs kinomap
I used RowPro for 12 years it was great but eventually I need something far more interactive so I moved to Zwift. Been on Zwift for a few years now but its no good for the Erg really, the 3rd party interface like RowedBiker "Works" in terms of getting you connected however it doesn't work in terms o...

Re: Bricked PM4
Its a PM4 but you can try it. I would leave the batteries out of it for 24 hours and fit 2 brand new batteries and you should get something come up on the screen. If its a 1st Gen PM4 made before 2007, its pretty much had its day anyway and its time to buy a new PM5. If you still have a blank screen...

I run Linux on all my computers but the system requirement for the Concept2 Untility is Windows or Mac. What am I supposed to do? Why do I need a Utility to get the firmware onto a USB stick? All help greatly appreciated. Find someone with a Windows laptop and a USB printer cable. Its not like you ...
