here's a guy far shorter than Rob. His heel moves a tiny bit.
It makes sense.
When the entire foot is connected, their should be more power.
It's not like we do leg presses on our toes, why erg on them?
If only it were easy...

I feel like I'm not using my legs evenly
After pulling an hour easy at 18 rate, I feel a little burn on my right leg and almost none on my left. Both sides of my glutes feel it, but how do I exert my left leg into in more?
thanks.

picking up the rate
Most of my pieces have been in controlled rates so I'm having trouble doing 2ks at 36-38 which is recommended for super lightweights like myself (6'1" 143 lbs). I need to add in a couple more strokes per minute. What sort of pieces should I do?
Thanks.
Thanks.

How important are rest days?
I sort of want to do away with mine, and put in an easy yet long steady state session. Would that be okay?
the heel.
Does it ever leave the footboard? Look at Waddell here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=d0JOq0HCBAs His heel barely moves! Now we all know Waddell is probably the fastest man on the erg today, and I felt really stupid when I realized my technique was as different from the man as I am. Is it just the angl...

I think it might work for me as well seeing that "under-developed muscularly" is my middle name. I'm a 6'0" 145 lb junior pulling around 7 minutes and I'm not really seeing too much progress with my aerobic training. I'm going to try to work up something like that with with some really light steady ...

well, i've been on my own bastard version of the Pete/Wolverine plans for a little while now, so I guess I'll just continue to work on those things rather than worry about strength. Thanks, I guess I was looking for a quicker solution to cutting down a few seconds, but I guess hard work is all that'...

improving low pull
Hi, I'm a scrawny junior lightweight with a little bit a running experience and absoloutely zero lifting experience.
I can pull just under 7 minutes on my 2k, but my max pull is only 1:32. How can I improve on that?
thanks.

Recruiting Standards? erg times and academics.
Hi,
I just wanted to know what ivy league lightweight recruiting standards were.
I'm a high school junior and I'm just wondering.
Thanks and please share any "I know a guy who.." stories you might have.
