Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Nice and consistent there. What does the 1000m CD stand for? And what was your injury you're recovering from?

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

OK, so I went slower on the rower tonight. Marked difference in how more quicker time went on the machine. Pausing each time was pretty difficult at first, felt like a plonker, but after a while I got into a rhythm. I could probably knock a minute off as I was faffing at the start with the straps on...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

I couldn't work out what you meant until I realised the data on the monitor. :P I was actually totally knackered during the last 2km due to generally being a bit tired and already having done exercise for the few days before. It was early on a Sunday after beers the day before, which compounded the...

Getting data from PM3 at a gym

Hey guys, I've got back into rowing at the gym after a few years off and have seen that people get out detailed statistics from their rowing machine. I row at the gym on PM3 equipped machines. Is it possible to get to any data held on the computers? It looks like there's an empty slot on the front t...

Well, I must be doing something quite substantially wrong as after 5 minutes on the guitar at the weekend I have felt a sharp pain and have been left with an uncomfortable left wrist/forearm since the weekend. Not pleased at all really, and it feels like it will be a while until I can a) play guitar...

I'm new and I struggle to imagine what it'd be like to row for a solid hour! 20 mins at the moment is enough for me, though I expect one day, when I get my 5k down, I might make the change up to 10k.

Speaking of which - I'm doing 1:55ish splits for 5k, what would you recommend for 10k? 2...10?

HI I'm new here, but been rowing about a 6 weeks or so.

My times have gone from:

2k: 9:42 - 7:19.8
5k: 19:45 - 19:20.6

I've only done a few 5k's but am looking to get my times down. Only thing is my left wrist kills a bit after a few k which is a little disconcerting. :(

Wrist support on Concept2

Hi guys, I'm new to rowing but am starting to enjoy it and really get into it. I used to do 2k rowing but found that it wasn't really long enough to really get into, being only a 7 min frenetic attack. I turned to 5k a week ago and am thoroughly enjoying it, but I find that because I'm now doing alm...
