Re: erg data app won't release iPhone X
Problem appears to be fixed. You can now swipe upwards to put the app into background mode, as with other iPhone apps.

Re: erg data app won't release iPhone X
I have exactly the same problem. No home button on the iPhone X means no (straightforward) way out of ergdata ... you are stuck there and it is an enormous pain. There is a workaround to release your iPhone X from ergdata's shackles: Click on right side button to switch off screen. Click on right si...

Re: concept2 utility 7 windows XP issue.
@Citroen, This is incorrect. The new Version 7 Utility works absolutely fine on Windows 7, which I run on all my PCs and laptops. The OP is running XP, which is now a very old (and unsupported o/s) which seemingly doesn't work. But W7 has no issues. Windows 7, despite Microsoft's attempts to kill it...

Re: Interval training
If you are using log-cards (on a PM3 or PM4) you can setup workouts for a crew as follows: 1. Insert a log-card in your machine. 2. Setup 1-5 workouts and save as favourite(s). Then, for each machine your crew is using: 3. Insert the log-card. 4. Go to log-card utilities. 5. Select copy all. Repeat ...

Re: Million metre row in 90 days
Congratulations from me also. I think your maths is off. If you've done 48 days and 560k, then you have 440k to do in 42 days (not 33 days). If you take a day off a week, you still have 36 days. So, I think you're looking at 12k a day, or around an hour a day of steady state rowing, which is not so ...

Re: Pricecheck on model C PM2
300 euros is the correct price if it is in good condition, not 500. The exorbitant asking price for such an old erg means you are dealing with a comedian. 365k is also a suspiciously low amount of metres for a machine that, as Citroen says, is at least 12 years old. That's an average of 2,500 metres...

Re: ergdata crashes on iOS 9
As a follow-up, Apple released the production version of iOS 9 today. So, the onus is now on Concept 2 to get ErgData to work with this. Scott is the helpful guy at Concept 2 who normally gets this kind of stuff fixed.

Re: ergdata crashes on iOS 9
iOS 9 is beta software. That means it's out there for testing purposes, it will contain bugs, and many apps will probably crash. Using beta software is always going to be a risk. So, you have (or, rather, had) the option to either wait for the official release and stick with iOS 8.x in the meantime,...

Re: Model C with PM2 Issue
PM5 retrofit kit is $180. The PM4 retrofit is cheaper at $150 (not $280), but it would be a false economy to buy the cheaper legacy monitor. It would be a worthwhile upgrade even if your PM2 wasn't broken. The handle retrofit at $15 is also worthwhile. As others have said, there's no point wasting t...

Re: Model D or E - Noise? Moving it internationally?
The only reason to get a Model E is if you have mobility problems. If you are nimble enough to sit on the floor and get back up again, then you should unequivocally get a Model D. The major downsides of the Model E are (i) additional expense, (ii) increased size (which makes it harder to live with),...

Re: outdoor rowing. genuine concept2 cover.
Like you, I also enjoy rowing in the open. But don't store your erg outside - the moisture will be detrimental to the machine. I have the cover and it is more of a dust protector than anything. Nice to have, but it doesn't seal the erg from the elements. If you break the erg into two pieces, it isn'...

Re: PM5 - USB or internal memory?
I upgraded to the latest firmware, but still experienced some issues with the USB stick. So, I think you are safer to row using the internal memory, and then transfer the data to the USB stick. But you can also do what I do which is to use the ErgData phone app. I've found this to be reliable (I use...

Re: PM5 - no wireless connection
Are you on PM5 firmware version 17? If not, try that as a first step (update from a PC/Mac, not from the USB stick, as this is more reliable).

Re: Ergdata and new phone
That's an interesting question. I think the data you see on the phone is stored locally, and in turn uploaded (copied) to the online logbook when you press the "sync" button (which doesn't really 'sync", it uploads). This is a one way process (phone to C2 server, not the other way round). So, I don'...
