I am interested as well. Can anyone supply how prices and models have changed over time from A to E? My first C2 was a Model B from 1986, but no idea what I paid for it.

Thanks.

Row-Right Sculling Sim for C2?

Saw this at the CRASH-Bs today, but because I was chasing the pee-wees around Agganis Arena, didn't get a chance to try. http://www.row-right.com/scullsim.html Looked VERY interesting, but expensive. Did anyone try it? Looks like it wouldn't be useable with slides. Wonder if the Monitor would still ...

I had no problem loosening two of the bolts, separating the arms slightly to slip the ring through (it's pretty slim) and retightening the bolts by myself.

No damage to my Model B at all.

YMMV.

C2 had absolutely no interest in changing the design, exemplified in the way they hang on to flaws like the railing being on a slope, that sticks out like a sore thumb on every erg that they make. They will never change this and will probably never improve the design of the erg. Good grief! With th...

Per Concept2, you're looking for PN1915 for $54.45 called the Quiet Kit. They say that it is not an easy retrofit, though most people on the board that have done it say that it's not terrible.

I may do it in the spring.

I've done #3 (heart rate upgrade), #5 (slides) and a Core Perform seat to my Model C. I've also upgraded the handle to a Model D handle, which is a cheap upgrade and I think well worth it. I like the heart rate monitor on the PM2 screen as I don't have to look down at the F11 watch all the time to m...

For the Model C: Serial number information The label containing the serial number is located between the V of the flywheel support legs and is on the bottom side of the rower. An example Model C serial number is 082203/1. The serial number represents the date the rower was boxed (mm/dd/yy). The numb...

Mine didn't work and I took it apart and cleaned it per the instructions here: http://www.concept2.com/us/support/manu ... sembly.pdf

Voila! It worked!

It's much easier to do than the directions make it seem.

Give this a try if you haven't.
