I love both of these posts! Tyn, thanks for sharing; I would *so* hang something like this in my rowing room. I'm impressed. The second post made me laugh out loud. What a witty play on the concept!

Thank you both. tlc

Best single tip regarding form:

Legs; Back; Arms; Arms; Back; Legs

I still use this as a mantra during my stroke to correct sloppy form. I can't remember who wrote it on this forum but I have never forgotten it. A belated thanks to you!

What a fantastic idea, Paul! As an engineer, myself, I'm always looking for educational and inspirational toys to 'infect' the imagination of the children in my life. I never had toys like this but would have relished the opportunity. I only wish my step-grandson were a little bit older; at just und...

WiZlon,
In all fairness, I miss terribly the simple joy of running outside -- especially in a light drizzle. It provided a certain freedom that no indoor exercise can replicate. On the other hand, being able to compete against myself all year 'round in equal and comfortable conditions is a whol...

What a great question, GB. I agree that the will to stop pulling can possess my mind if I'm having a hard time of it on any particular day. To avoid the temptation, I keep my mind occupied on other (more productive) things.

1. I always listen to talk radio on a walkman so that the rest of...

Rob,
A new set of batteries in the PM3 should, indeed, last for year(s). Mine are over a year old with daily use and going strong. Your entire PM3 monitor will likely need to be replaced. But don't fret, no matter where you are C2 will make it right.

Sorry that you have to go through...

Interesting data, John!

I have no quantitative stats to add to your findings -- just the observation that almost every time I have been worn out and ignored the monitor during a "sure to be disappointing" performance, I, too, was pleasantly surprised at my overall distance over a fixed ti...
