I can't help with the testing, I'm afraid; don't own a P3. Since one of the chief attractions of the upgrade (the logcard) doesn't work with my computer, I haven't seen much reason to make the investment. But as soon as a P3 appears that I can use with my Mac, I'll be glad to buy one. Many thanks in...

I have the same problem -- a very sore ball of the (left) foot -- but no solution yet. I'm the source of my own difficulty, as I learned from a podiatrist. I am very pigeon-toed, have high arches, and my feet pronate severely. (I actually used to trip over my own feet as a little kid.) As a result, ...

Bill,

In case you would like to know how the new page looks on a Mac running FireFox -- an out-there combination, I guess -- the page is beautiful and it loads quickly. The big graphic at the top (w/ the menu) is a little flaky; it comes and goes. But otherwise everything seems stable. I ...

Slo-boat,

Do be sure to check eBay. There are always a few model C's for sale there. In fact, one just sold for the strange sum of $622.64. I keep an eye out myself because I occasionally think of doing the very thing someone else mentioned on this thread -- selling my C and replacing it ...

Thanks for the very good suggestion, Michael.

XB will run on an old junker, will it? (That's how ignorant I am about Windows.) As for getting it for free, well, miracles never cease, I always say.

DGG

I'm a Mac user with an older C2 model C. I sometimes think about selling my rower on eBay and springing for a model D. But then I remember that I won't be able to take advantage of rowpro or even the log card. (No, I don't plan to buy a PC -- I love rowing, but, hey, there's a limit. ) If Scott & hi...

Hi Karl,

I had the very same problem recently. It's amazing, isn't it, how much noise a C2 can make. My rower has a lot of meters on it, so I decided to replace all the rollers. I received the new parts in two days, and they solved the problem. If I remember correctly, total cost was slightly...

Yoda,

I'd like to start the sort of exercise regimen you recommend, but I understand that form is very important, and for that I need more guidance than a book provides. Can you recommend a video or two to check out? It would be very helpful to watch someone doing the exercises.

I'm 6...

Michael,

I have been rowing since Sept. '03 and have always wanted to try rowpro, but I'm not interested enough to spend anything on a test using Microsoft software. You suggest a very attractive solution to my problem.

I have zero experience with Windows --I last used a PC in the day...

Many thanks, John. I found the serial number underneath what I would describe as the trunk of the rower, right at the hub of the flywheel.

My machine is older than I realized. Good excuse for buying something new for it, don't you agree?

Best wishes,
Dennis

I'd like to check the date of my model C. The web page cited above:

http://www.concept2.com/pdf/IRwarranty.pdf

isn't available any longer. Could I ask for advice about a related topic? I have been rowing since last September on a Model C (old-style handle). Recently I have had sore hands -- at night I occasionally notice a burning feeling at the base of my left thumb, especially, but the same area on the right hand is sensitive, too. A...
