I think I'll pass. I've heard it's only really good if you see it in 3D, and I haven't seen a 3D film yet that didn't give me a raging headache about 10 minutes in.

Facebook Application Not Showing New Workouts

The Facebook application doesn't seem to be showing any new workouts for me in 2010. Anyone else having the same issue?

Fall Rowing Challenge?

Hey!

Is somebody going to register the Eh! Team for the Fall Rowing Challenge?

Please? I need to get some motivation going after some challenging health problems and a death in the family!

Let's go Eh! Team! Get Rowing.

You can't do it that way! The marathon row must be done all in one shot, and you must count all of your "break" time in your accumulated time.

Why I Missed the Solstice Row

I have missed out on my first major challenge this season (and the first challenge that I have not met since starting with my Model D a little over two years ago). I had everything set to row the Solstice Row in Louisville, KY with the help of the Louisville Rowing Club. However my trip to Louisvill...

After 20 years of being loyal to C2 I'm now going to sell up all my C2 equipment that I've accumulated over those years and change brands. Last week I put in my forward order to "Rowperfect" which I believe have a superior product. Apparently the new model has just gone into production. They have b...

I use Logitech FreePulse headphones. They are bluetooth, so no wires, and should work with your computer and MP3 player They will even work with a musicplayer/cell phone with bluetooth. I was able to get mine online at a discount by buying them at Canada Computers.

You really do owe it to yourself just to try it!

I just finished my 3rd Marathon yesterday. My time was horrible, but I gutted it out till the end.

Sadly, Concept2 has discontinued the Marathon Mugs, but you can still get a nifty pin (and the bragging rights!).

Full Marathon Certificate. . .

. . . looks just as horrible as the Half Marathon one!

Come on Concept2, it's a small thing, could you at least put a little effort into the certificates?

Am I the only one this matters even a little bit too?

This is the summer. . .

. . . that I am going to learn to scull in a real shell! I dropped into the Durham Rowing Club in Port Perry, ON today for their open house. Lots of opportunity for learning to row, and it's not TOO far away from my house.

I'll keep you posted!

Certificate for Half Marathon. . .

. . . looks horrible! The lines in the top left corner look like someone painted them out with whiteout. Also, whatever happened to certificates with our names on them? Sorely disappointed after slogging through a half marathon while battling bronchitis to find such a sad certificate for the Global ...

Really? On Monday I came down with the flu; the same day the Y next door got a new Model D. I can't imagine surviving 10 strokes @3:00. It's the first 10 strokes that are hard! But I try to row even if I am feeling awful. I find that rowing is good even if I have a bad migraine. Some activity is be...

It's all well and good to post the link to the Rower Finder, but I'm sure what the OP was hoping for was some information from a local about where a good place to find a rower was. The Rower Finder is nice, but it does not really give you any information about access, price, or anything else. For ex...

Rowing when you are sick is the best way to recover. Just keep a box of tissues nearby! ;-)

RowPro should play nicely with Vista. I have no problems with it on my desktop machine. It also did fine on my laptop running XP SP2.

Here's where I row. I have a 19" widescreen monitor for RowPro sessions or watching DVDs.
