Training

I tend to only to really think about my technique, pace and keeping a reasonable stroke rate for what ever piece i'm doing for example for 5k i would be looking to keep my rating at about 24 spm keeping the 500m spilt below 2:10 but for a 2k aim to for a spm of 26-28 while aiming to keep the 500 spi...

Training

It is easier to go faster using slides because they force you in to good techinque as does erging with your feet unstraped, as to it being more like sculling i can not agree with this as i regularly warm put on slides or a row prefect (simialar to erging on slides) then single, the major differentan...

the only thing that i would like to see on the model E that's not on the D is a return to the style of seat form the model B as this feels more like that you find in a boat.

i have always been told to keep your little fingers hooked over the edge of the handel, because you lose around 70% of your grip and row with the handel pulling against the tip and middle section of your fingers. This makes it a little easier and really helps to cut down the blisters .

I know what you mean, i have the same problem on model D's i think that it is mainly because the seat is solid and has no give. The thing is not to think about it and just keep thinking about techinque, failing this just row harder that should make you forget about it . Also remeber C2's have fixed ...
