Re: 30/30; Back to Back On C2 Dynamic & Model D
Hi Bob, Curious as to why you prefer the D on slides over the Dynamic? I have the former now (with the Core Perform seat attached, which I really like) and am seriously considering switching to the Dynamic. Mostly due to the amount of space the slides take up (like you) and also to try something th...

Re: dynamics in the ranking
Hi,
How do you like your dynamic so far? Did you switch from a static rower or one on slides?
Thanks.
Kevin

Re: How to buy a used Concept 2
Thanks, Greg, We're old -- 60 years old, so we won't be needing the higher drag! Well that one was good for a laugh. I first encountered the erg at age 64 and that was 24 years ago. At 60, you are probably not too far off from the average on this forum. Bob S. Hi Bob, I'm sure that anyone reading t...

Re: core-perform on the dynamic
Hi Bob,
Just saw your post and wanted to thank you. The fact that the core perform can indeed may be mounted on the dynamic may get me over the hump in ordering one...after the Holiday Challenge is over, of course!
Take care,
Kevin

Re: Core Perform seat on C2 Dynamic?
Hi Bob, Thanks for your honest feedback. I really like my D on slides (with the Core Perform seat), but am in a similiar spot with looking for a smaller footprint. I still have a nagging feeling though (and I bet I am not the only one) that it might be better to wait a little while longer for perhap...

Re: Core Perform seat on C2 Dynamic?
Hi Bob, Are you still enjoying your Dynamic? Any issues or things you wish were different? I can't remember, but did you go from the regular static erg or one with slides? I've been mulling this over for a good year now, so maybe it is time to pull the pin! I will need to sell my D with slides first...

Re: Core Perform seat on C2 Dynamic?
Hi, I'm interested in this topic, too, as I have the Core Perform on my model D now and am thinking of switching to the Dynamic. Btw, I got the same response from Core Perform a while ago, which was also a disappointment for all the reasons stated here. All that aside, I don't think the issue is whe...

Hi John,johnlvs2run wrote: Personally I did like the slides quite a bit and would use them again. I am not impressed with the C2 dynamic.
Curious why you are not impressed with the dynamic? Have you actually tried it or just based on what you see?
Thanks.

Re: Help Pricing a Model D
Space is probably my biggest thing, too. I love the slides and am bummed that the core perform seat won't fit on the dynamic, but if we downsize as we're talking, I am just not going to have the room needed for the slides anymore. The thought of setting them up every time I want to row is not that a...

Re: Help Pricing a Model D
Heard back from C2 and as expected, my machine was not part of the limited amount of machines that had the potential issue. Here is part of the reply I received from them if anyone is interested: The dates affected by the product notice are 08/01/06 to 04/19/07. Please direct people to our website f...

Re: Help Pricing a Model D
Thanks, that's very helpful. I was never aware of the metal fatigue issues and presume that C2 would contact folks if their machines were part of that problem, but I just emailed them to find out. My machine is in great shape, too, and I have the core perform seat and slides. I have also had a "C-br...

Re: Help Pricing a Model D
Thanks, guys. I was thinking somewhere around $700-750 would be fair. I don't have the box for it anymore so I'd much rather sell it local or deliver it in the area (I'm in CT) rather than put it on ebay. I do have the box for the slides so that would be easier. I did not know there was a D1 and D2....

Help Pricing a Model D
Hi, I am seriously considering ordering a new dynamic rower and would sell my Model D in the process. It is about 7 years old with 9.5 million meters and had been meticulously maintained. I have a core perform seat installed (unfortunately, I don't think this seat will work with the new dynamic..bum...

Hey Ducatista! I'm not just saying this because it's what you want to hear...stick with the slides and you won't regret it. Once you get the hang of it, I find it much better...you literally feel like the "boat" is running under you. I also find that it helps me use my legs better as you literally p...
