On the plus side, the bottom of the window is even with the rower seat. I can look out of the window while rowing

The UV will discolour the plastic fan housing over time. The black C2 rower is better in this regard.
Just pull the window blind or get a block out roller blind.

What kind of oil should I get for the chain?
OK, I know the answer is in here, but searches that include the the word "oil" bring up 1000 - 1400 results. I got a used Model D rower. Manual says to use the enclosed oil, but it's long gone. For now I'm a beginner using the rower for 20-30 minute almost every day. So what oil should I get?

Gaaak!!! I got my RowErg yesterday. Thought the white plastic strip was package protection for shipping! ...heading out to search the recycle bin
