Thank you all. Rowing has been a key part of it for me. I continue to do 4-6 hours a week. This is the last one I filmed on Saturday.

It helps to burn the glucose directly and transport it into the muscles without insulin. I have read that short (slow or moderate) 5-10 min workouts immediately after lunch (after each eating generally) are good. Yes, just a walk is good, I try to do that within 30 mins of eating.
