Re: Upload rows from old USB stick?
the other thing the software suite sucks at is uploading previous row data recorded on a previous USB stick - as per the OP. After many attempts, I last night finally gave up on my 500,000+ meters recorded on my previous USB stick - the C2 utility in windoz refused to ever see them when I tried to u...

Re: Upload rows from old USB stick?
so let's see, phone for ergdata, pm5 for data capture of erg, and Ipad for graphics. all for one row.
and you don't see the ridiculous complexity of that?

Re: Upload rows from old USB stick?
[[ON RANT]] and I will add that issue is just one more sad "gotcha" with their software (or firmware or PM5 hardware). Now I remember why for all the years I have been rowing on my much loved Model D, I never adopted use of the online log or software. Waaayyy too much hassle. For years I just rowed ...

Re: Upload rows from old USB stick?
tried C2 utility again just now after fresh reinstall on win10 machine, i7, 16gb ram. As always before when I tried to use it, as soon as I open the app on windows it goes into never, never land. Windows always reports it is unresponsive - this time I waited it our for about 15 minutes, then finally...

Upload rows from old USB stick?
Hi, After updating my PM5 firmware, I started using a new USB stick, and I notice it uploaded my recent rows to the online log. VERY COOL! Now how do I get all the rows from the previous USB stick into the online log? I really, really, don't want to enter them all manually. If I start using the old ...

Re: concept2 windows utility
Admittedly I did not go through any of the corrective steps suggested by responders. Maybe one of them would have helped. In any event the advice provided may help others in the future so I think not a wasted effort here. And now I won't bother with the update utility on windoze since the IOS app ve...

Re: Best seat pad?
I have been using an inflatable air camping/stadium seat cushion. I use two sided tape to keep it in position on the erg's plastic seat. I can go over an hour now on a row with only the slightest seat discomfort after 60 mins or so. Huge improvement! It does take a bit of getting used to, and care g...

Re: concept2 windows utility
thank you for trying to help :) As long as the PM5 is showing connected top right in the utility it should be good to go. It was not. Even when it showed "connected" as soon as I clicked ANYTHING on the interface, it would just show hourglass forever and go into never-never land. As a last resort, I...

Re: concept2 windows utility
Thanks for the replies guys! either way, connected or not, windows simply reports "... is not responding" I gave up with the utility on windows. Piece of junk. I spent 20+ years as a developer, I know what poorly designed/implemented software is. In any event, I tried using my IPAD to do the update ...

Re: PM5 obsolete?
The whole Concept 2 rower could come with two options, those that want the existing PM5 setup and one for those that now want to move to a tablet that not only has the same monitor as an App but you can have a totally customisable setup like the widgits on my car display where you just integrate Er...

Re: Footstraps? There is a better way.
I stopped using footstraps when I learned how much better the ab workout is without using the footstraps.
But since you didn't patent yours, maybe I will

concept2 windows utility
I tried to update my PM5 using concept2 utility on my windows 10 machine with PM5 connected via USB. The concept2 utility just shows "not responding" no matter what function I select:update, data, etc. Just freezeup. NOTE that I remove the PM5 from the rower to connect because computer and rower are...
