You asked what to change....
I would change the direction of your seat, it's on back to front! The flater edge should be towards to fan. Hopefully this change will make it more comfortable to sit on.

I picked one up for £50 and since then I have changed the foot plates and the handle.
I picked up a pm5 and now it's perfect

I just picked up a Model b from FB marketplace - GBP£50. Its bombproof.
I installed new footplates and a new handle and am in the process of creating a extra damper 'speed disc' and i am sure it will go on for another 20 years.
