I had the exact same issue just today. Plugging in the usb stick would not recognize the update. My PM5 has v211 firmware but 254 is the latest. I connected my mac to the PM5 and tried to update through the cable. The PM5 reported that it already had the latest firmware at 211. I chatted with suppor...
