Re: One O'Clock Position

Thanks Iain truly a marathon post and very useful. I've been on the ergs since the early '90's, I think it could take me another 30 years to implement all that.

Re: One O'Clock Position

Thanks Everyone I'll bear all this in mind.......... 50spm!! This brings me to my next point but I'll leave it in the same topic: At 5 feet 9 inches 13 Stone I am a middleweight stuck in the H category. Taking a simplistic view this means to increase my speed and or wattage I should: 1) Raise the fo...

One O'Clock Position

Been grappling with the virtues of leaning forward to one o'clock lean for some time. I assume the idea is to lengthen the stroke. However for whatever reason, too much excess on the waist? - it is not easy. Not managed to video myself yet but in order to lean more I've taken to leaning forward with...

Foot bones Query

I have been diagnosed with arthritis in the joint that is above the ball of the foot. I've often puzzled over the issue of should the rower's heel be flat at the end of the glide and the consensus seems to be that a bit of lift is permissible in terms of efficiency and power. However if I opt for th...

Re: Polar Heart Rate Monitor

Thanks Mate so simple when you know how. Just now Polar sent me an email............. Hi Brian, Thank you very much for the nice chatting earlier and your patience so far. The stopwatch cannot be used without wearing the heart rate sensor: https://support.polar.com/e_manuals/FT1_FT2/Polar_FT1_FT2_us...

Polar Heart Rate Monitor

No wonder there are so many Polar posts here! Just went to their Chat which I assumed would be a robot and even the robot, if Isidora is a robot, has joined the chat and taken 10 mins without even acknowledging my question. I hope it is a simple one, the FT1 has a chest strap and all works fine. How...

Re: LISTING MY NEW TIME

At last, that took me a lot longer than 8 hrs 55m to sort out! Got confused by the season's years, seems we are in 2025 now not 2024 which is where my logged time was. Would it help if in the ranking list the date of each performance was displayed - there's plenty of room on the screen?

Re: LISTING MY NEW TIME

HA HA I think I found one issue, I logged my time as 8 hours 55 mins! Rectified that but still no BJ in the list

Re: LISTING MY NEW TIME

Thanks Guys but the list of rankings that I can see shows Yes's and No's for Verified. I've deleted the previous try, relogged it no joy. Bit out of practice the last time I logged was in 2005 and at least that one is still there.

LISTING MY NEW TIME

How long dos it take for a new time to appear in a ranking?
Tried to input a new time for 2K 70-74 years but still not appearing in the ranking? My screen def says "Unrank" meaning I've clicked "Rank". Does it take a while, days?, for a time to appear in the list?
