Re: thoughts on this used C2 (and meaning of numbers)

For gym used machine, roughly count on 1,5 - 2 mil meters per year of age, no matter what the monitor says.

Re: Is 25 million metres too much?

Well, that's a lot indeed. Most likely gym or even ex boat house machine. Hopefully you at least got it at bargain deal. As mentioned, do a basic maintenance and see how it feels afterwards. I would prefer to have device with lower mileage, even with C2 bulletproof reputation, that a lot of hours fo...

Re: Chain twitch during drive on new RowErg

Just to update the case. Problem is still there, same as before. I've tried returning it to Decathlon, describing the issue, low rate, high power stroke. The log says they tried it two time, two minutes times, rate 27, 2:30 for the love of god  Of course, they did not find any issues with it. ...

If there is a curve in the chain, its stuffed.
What do you mean by stuffed?

Not sure if pcitures help, there is curve near the handle, but this part does not go onto sprocket.

Re: Chain twitch during drive on new RowErg

https://www.c2forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=185726 I've used the thread above as an inspiration, gudilines by Ergmesiter. I inspected the sprocket, looks brand new, which it is :!: Plastic band is orange on mine so it's clearly visible. I have also inspected the chain for stiff links but each link perfo...

Chain twitch during drive on new RowErg

So, question. Model here is Rowerg, produced end 21, with currently 170k meters, so almost brand new. Chain and flywheel bearing has been slightly lubed, did not make any changes. What is happening, during the drive phase I notice visible twitch in the chain which you can feel through handle, around...

Re: Difficult to Row

My two cents on the topic. I've got a year old RowErg with 20k meter on it, so can be considered brand new. Comparing with 6m meters on late 2018 model D, it has much more drag ressistance then the older one. Old had DF of 115 - 120 at 7.5, new one has the same leve at around 5 - 5.5. Doors are alwa...

Re: Model D vibration

Thank you all. I have lubed the bearing with LM chain lube in the end like described, clicking sound is still there but it's plastic sound coming from the fan itself, won't investigate further. At 2:00 last stroke, it takes 2:45 to fully stop the flywheel, what I have seen from here, this is ok resu...

Re: Model D vibration

I've managed to resolve the vibration 'problem'. My erg was too close to the door and I suppose the wheel created to much suction and this affected the PM. 2nd thing I've noticed is clicking sound coming I suppose from the flywheel. This happens when I'm done with rowing, put the handle back and as ...

Re: Model D vibration

Good morning all. So the minor play of the flywheel on the axle is normal? I cannot figure out where could I lost it, if we are talking about balancing weight on the flywheel feathers, there has been a lot of them, around 10. I haven't moved a single one, let alone let it drop. I was extra careful w...

Model D vibration

Hi all, new to the forum, not in the world of rowing though. Recently I've purchased gym used 2018 Model D, with cca 5mil meter done. It has never been used outdoors. It was quite dusty and DF was relatively low, but considering I haven't seen any other issues and the price was ok, I went for the pu...
