Re: fast and explosive or slow and steady
What about technique? Is it a good idea to go "fast and furious as" a beginner?
Isn't this risky if your technique isn't good and isn't the better way to develop a good technique to row slow(er)
while paying attention at how you row until you do it correct without thinking before speeding up?

De Dark Horse videos vind ik zeer de moeite waard, die van Rowalong ook.

Re: FlexFoot width issue with running modern shoes
I wore my running shoes for a while, they also got stuck.
They are Brooks Beasts, shoes for heavy pronators and maximum stability. They are very wide at the heel.
I now wear my taekwondo shoes. Much better! No need for support or correction anyway.

Mind you, lions attract flies, so you will have to wiggle your tale.
This may be a challenge while rowing.

Re: Change username
In the French language bas-son means low-sound.
It's the name of the lowest sounding woodwind instrument.

Just curious: why don't you like your username.bassongirl wrote: ↑April 16th, 2024, 1:36 pmIs there any way to change my username in this forum? I can see how to change password or email adress but not the username. Help appreciated
Perhaps the word has an "altenrative" meaning in the English language that I am not aware of?

Re: Seat Pain, Feels like 2 Positions that "Switch" almost with a "Pop"
A few days ago, I did a workout of about 50 minuts, half of it with the C2 pad and the other half on the "bare" seat. With the pad on, my sitbones didn't touch the seat, but I still felt some pain. Without the pad, I could feel my sitbones tilt, but the feeling was the same. Since I began rowing abo...

Re: Seat Pain, Feels like 2 Positions that "Switch" almost with a "Pop"
I used the C2 seat pad, but now I don't anymore.
Sitting more to the rear end of the seat helped to alleviate the pain.
Although I still feel it, but changing the seating position really helped.

700 hours may not be much, but if it's clicking, the chain has
probably been dry for a while which will shorten its lifespan.
That's why periodic/preventive maintenance was invented

Re: Drag factor set but not matching the workout?
I recently had 3 faulty DF values in my logbook, even 2 in a row.
The values listed were always 16 instead of 116.
PM5 firmware is up to date.
I updated ErgData (android) but have yet to do a workout.
