Thanks for the responses guys, I never tried any kind of straps or handles other than the ones which come with the ski erg new model. Wraps might be an idea. Hey? Does anybody row with one leg long term? I’ve seen “drills”.. but I’m talking about indefinitely. I have patellofemoral arthritis in one knee after a reconstruction so get crepitus/inflammation if I go about bending the knee more than 20 degrees. Pr2 rowing

Hey,

I have patellofemoral arthritis so cannot bend my left leg more than 20 degrees without pain.

I’m looking at rowing but without the leg drive.

Are there any PR2 category rowers here? Is it a good workout still?

Hi Kevin, Well done, inspiring stuff! - I’m 35, have arthritis in both my left wrist and knee. The knee is patellofemoral so it cracks/flares up if I sit for too long or bend more than 20 degrees. Hey everybody, Does anybody else manage to use the ski erg with a bad wrist? I’m 35 but have early arthritis after an old sporting injury.
