Re: Dangerscouse

Couldn't agree more! There's something bittersweet about it to me that just feels right for weddings somehow!

Re: Dangerscouse

Oh oh! I quite like 100 Proof Aged in Soul! I discovered them at my friend's wedding party, where Everything Good is Bad was on. Apparently, that particular track was the idea of his wedding planners from loveandlavender.com. Funny how that works!

Re: Muscle Gain as a Lightweight

Oh and I also couldn't agree more about eating as much as you can. And that doesn't mean just loading up on calories. It means to load up on good calories, especially from protein-rich foods. As a good rule of thumb, about 0.8g of protein per pound of your body weight daily is ideal!

Re: Muscle Gain as a Lightweight

Also, I'd love to add here the importance of progressive overload. Long story short, when weightlifting for hypertrophy, just always try to use a weight that gets you to complete failure within the 8-12 rep range. Once you hopefully see some progress and find yourself able to surpass that range with...

Re: Trying to get better

I highly recommend looking into regulating your diet too, if you haven't already. It's easy to underestimate the importance of your meals in the weight loss process, even if you're working out regularly.

Hope you've managed to see more of a change since you originally posted. Strength training would be great if you ever got the chance, but I'm sure you can get very far with just an erg!

Great video suggestion! I love Austin's content, especially his recent shorts like this great one on push-ups.

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

I've been putting some time at the gym for hypertrophy training this past month, to surprisingly good results. It's a 5-day split, where today was chest and triceps day. Not strictly rowing related (though there are rows on back/bicep day), but I thought I'd share anyway since I'm feeling rather goo...

[Off-topic] would love some help

Hi team! Sorry for the off-topic post, but I would love some help. Does anyone have any experience with Windshield replacement jobs for their cars? I recently got into a mild crash and came out unscathed luckily! but my front bumper and windshield are cracked! I'm not much of a car guy, I believe th...

You can fit a PM2, PM2+, PM3, PM4 or PM5 to your ergo. Try eBay or Craigslist.
well that's good to know.

Is there a way to lock the seat so it can't slide when the rower is not in use? Looking to secure our rower from curious kids. Thanks!
I always just put a bike lock on the mechanism

Re: What is the ideal force curve looks like??

Here are some examples: https://www.concept2.com/indoor-rowers/training/tips-and-general-info/using-the-force-curve There is a bit more to it: some are more agressive at the catch (frontloaded stroke, not to be confused with exploading at the catch) and others are more backloaded. As very serious r...
