Re: PM5, ErgData, More Complex Intervals
With ErgData you can create a custom intervals workout, create the 30" pieces with a specific pace target for each one, then duplicate (?)

Re: My journey to a sub 7minute 2km!
That's normal as you've optimized your training for a relatively short distance (2k)
If you aim for longer distances you'll change your training with more steady state and more long intervals workouts.
Or you can aim for 100m/500m/1k with anaerobic work

Re: My journey to a sub 7minute 2km!
Great achievement, 7:00 is still a milestone and the sign of a good training.
Based on rowinglevel.com, you could expect :
- sub 19' 5k
- sub 39'30 10k
- sub 1h25 HM
- sub 2h56 FM
So you could build up across these distances? Maintaining a 60k/week volume.

Re: What is a decent 500m split to maintain?
You maintain a 2:07 split but for how long? 1' ? 5' ? 45' ?
Split and damper setting are not really linked.
By the way, nobody would advise you to set it on 10.

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
Hey there, After a little more than three months of (running) marathon training I finally injured my right heel, once again (enthesopathy). I decided to take advantage of my fitness level to let off some steam on the machine  My last 2k TT was black in february 2019 (!) @7:20.5 Since that I...

Re: 6x500m session as a "2k predictor"
Thanks for all the feedbacks! :) It would be more useful if you had added the HR's at the end of each split. It was 160 / 163 / 164 / 166 / 167 / 168 . My running maxHR is 190 but I donโt know (or at least, donโt remember) my rowing maxHR. I believe a 6x500 2r piece can be done at around 2k -2or3 pa...

6x500m session as a "2k predictor"
Hello rowers, Today I did a 6x500m with 2' rest. My pace target was 1:49, a pace that would improve my 2k PB (I plan a TT in the next month or so). My splits : 1:49.2 1:48.9 1:49.0 1:48.9 1:49.0 1:48.9 Spot on, and at the end I felt that I could still have done some hundreds of meters more, maybe a ...

Re: HR Monitor
Hi,
I don't know the half-vest you're talking about, but I don't like straps either, si I use a Polar OH1. It's an optical HR monitor in an armband, so much more comfortable.
There's also the Wahoo Tickr Fit and probably a few other.

Re: Structured workouts?
Here it is : the Reddit's file . It's based on a 2k time trial and gives you the pace for the different usual workouts. If not familiar with these, you can check Travis Gardner's YouTube channel. I also found another interesting table, based on a 20' test : https://www.rowperfect.co.uk/rowing-pace-c...
