I voted for 'The Rowing Company' because I was worried with the balance of the 'Rowing'.
However, Malor's solution removes that concern.
One request, whatever you do decide on, please, please, please don't let it be 'Rowing Solutions'
I'm heartily sick of the over use of that phrase o...

I use a very similar strategy, with the same 'mental weakness' during the third quarter.
I do go off very hard for the first 6 strokes. Then take the next 10 strokes to bring the pace back to target split.
I'll then throw everything at the last 150m or so. Should go off earlier, but have a...

Definitely agree with George.
All post our pb's together.
I know that my 2k pace will always be slower than the 5k pace of the big boys.
But it's still a pb for me.
It shows me that I'm quicker and that all the work has a benefit to me

Last thing we want is a tiered s...

Competitions
Some race organisers (in th UK anyway) will set up the races dependant on the predicted time of the competitors.
This makes for better/closer racing for the crowds (and I end up with the 50-59 boys )

Go with very much the same df between training and races.

I'll do the long, stroke limited sessions at about 120df, and I'll race at 125. For the short intervals (1min or 250m), then I might raise it to 130.

Just the way I choose to play it, though.

I personally voted for no censorship.

I'm well aware that in certain verbal situations I will use a variety of 'industrial' language .
I see no excuse for it when entering typed information on a forum/in e-mail.
Even quick typers have plenty of time to think of a less offensive ...

There isn't one.
It's purely down to personal preferences.

As a guide (no more) with a clean ergo a damper setting around 4 should give you a drag factor of about 125-130.
This is pretty much the ballpark for competition/training.
